Easy Pick-up & Drop-off
Thornleigh Vet Hospital has an extensive cattery facility on site to ensure your cats can be boarded under the supervision of an enthusiastic and empathetic veterinary team. Our convenient location on Pennant Hills Road means an easy drop-off on your way to the motorways out of Sydney and is one less thing to worry about when organising your time away.
Vet Hospital Onsite
Our large outdoor cat accommodation ensures air-flow is maximised for natural infection control, and each boarder receives plenty of fresh air and a green outlook. Having a vet hospital on-site means you can take advantage of additional services offered such as free dental checks, discounted dental procedures for boarders, nail clips or assistance in administering worming or flea products.
Dedicated Expert Boarding Staff
Our dedicated kennel-hand are passionate about their role and take the time to get to know every guest, and what their additional requirements may be so you can rest-assured your cat is getting the very best of care. Our team is trained in stress-free techniques which can make a significant difference in making animals more comfortable whilst away from home.
Cattery
Our 28 cat runs provide a large spacious area for your cats to stretch and climb, or bask in the sunshine. Each run has vertical space, a cat hammock and a sky-light. Additional items from home can be added to help them feel at ease.
All cats face a beautiful wall of climbing jasmine, can see no other cats, and are housed separately to reduce stress. Cuddles are provided throughout the day and pheromone therapy is used to help those that may be a little anxious.
All cats must have up-to-date vaccinations and flea prevention.
Cat Day Care
We understand that sometimes you need safe, secure lodgings for your cat during the day to allow you to be out for an extended period, move house, have open inspections, renovate, or get to an appointment. Our daycare rate includes a private run for the day with access to water and vertical space. Food is not provided to our daycare boarders.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate daycare boarders during our peak periods.
All cats must have up-to-date vaccinations and flea prevention.

We’re open from 8:30am to 7:00pm week days, and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays.
We offer the convenience of 6-day check-in and check-out.
Loyalty Program
For our regular boarders we offer additional benefits such as:
- FREE annual vaccination if boarded more than 30 accumulative days per calendar year.
- FREE dental checks and 15% OFF DENTISTRY if completed whilst in boarding.
